Sometimes our most glaring faults are also our most invisible. This is dedicated to friends who have chosen to show their love by putting our friendship on the line and telling me that I'm may be walking naked. I pray that God will give me the humility to heed rebuke and the fortitude to change my person and ways.
The mirror is for vanities.
It affirms the beholder.
"Oh Beauty! Oh Wisdom! Oh Riches!"
And though I am poor and naked
Ego has siezed Blindness as his bethroth
But Fate and Friends
Will place Wilde's devilish portrait
Just round a corner I take
Confronting me with the pitiful disjunct
And conjuring from sinful lips
"Oh Heavens! Forgive!"
"Lord! How much longer?"
