Over lunch I picked up the following Odds and Ends
The baby will be a beautiful girl named Mireia. Mara wanted to add a second name - Shireze, but I think I managed to talk her out of it.
Apparently the child is legitimate and eligilble for bonuses IF adopted, even by a single parent. So we are hatching a plan to put Mieria up for adoption and to have Mara adopt her own baby. When you got stupid laws, you get this kind of behaviour that would otherwise be totally irrational!
No one can figure out a chinese name yet, but I told her not to waste her money on some geo-hokey-mancer.
Looking for a gyni, preferably one that can do 3-D scans of the baby. woo hoo. - "Mam, here are the print outs and here is the pair of 3-D goggles."
Baby books don't make good hand-me-downs because there is a ton of baby drool on them by the time they get past the first page. So I'll probably use my staff discount to get her all the cool DK stuff.
Cool-looking pram wanted. While I know where to buy skates, cars and bicycles, I have no idea what makes a cool-looking pram. Dun mind hand me downs complete with a reciept for the Bloodaddy-o.
Been meeting up with other single mums. One of them has nothing but praise for her gyne who refused a C-section after 3 days in labour. THREE DAYS! Filthy Sadist! And he charges more than the going rate too.

Mireia is going to be your whole life, your whole purpose from now girl. I pray God will use this milestone in your life to show His grace and love towards you. I pray you peace and courage as you walk a path not willingly chosen, and the joy of see Mireia growing into a beautiful, blessed girl.
